Today, we take a look at 1963's version of Spider-Man.....AND Daredevil? You'll see.
The
story starts off with The Fury helping out 1963's Nick Fury, Sky Solo,
with the same mysterious package seen in issue #1. She asks Fury to
deliver the package to her colleagues in L.A.S.E.R.
After
getting ambushed and taking down a terrorist organization attempting to
steal the package, Fury is shocked when he is confronted and attacked
by his Arch Nemesis, THE VOIDOID!
Fury
takes him as a joke at first. That is until the Voidoid reveals that he
has a a targeting system and an enhanced V.R set that allows him to
predict the Fury's moves!
Meanwhile
back at L.A.S.E.R headquarters, the creature, being described as a monstrous
prehistoric creature with what seems to be a tumor (which claims to have killed the dinosaurs), escapes.
The Fury manages to beat Voidoid's VR, but is overpowered anyways. That is until the big reveal of...The Warbeast!!!
Voidoid fleas, leaving Fury alone with the monster. Hope seems lost until Sky Solo and L.A.S.E.R show up to fight.
After
defeating the beast, L.AS.E.R takes it into custody. The Fury then
devides to have two micro phisicists, Dr. Kent Kane and Dr. Mason (who
we will see again later *wink*), examine the tech. Ricky then goes home
and remembers his dad's teachings.
Then we get two pin-ups.
